To mark Men’s Health Week (11th to 18th of June 2018) the Irish Men’s Sheds Association are running an event for men in County Meath. The event will be kindly hosted by Moynalty Men’s Shed on Tuesday the 12th of June from 11am to 1.30pm. This event is open to all men, shedders and non- shedders so please spread the word and bring a friend. The aim of this event is to heighten awareness of preventable health problems among men and to support men in making positive lifestyle choices.

The Irish Heart Foundation will be there on the day to provide free blood pressure checks to all men in attendance. From 1.30pm to 3pm free blood pressure checks will also be available to the general community so please let your families and neighbours know.

A number of short talks will also be provided by the Marie Keating Foundation, Diabetes Ireland, Get Ireland Walking and Haven Pharmacy.
