To mark Men’s Health Week (11th to 18th of June 2018) the Irish Men’s Sheds Association are running an event for men in County Clare. The event will be kindly hosted by Shannon Men’s Shed on Monday the 12th of June from 11am to 1.30pm. This event is open to all men, shedders and non- shedders so please spread the word and bring a friend. The aim of this event is to heighten awareness of preventable health problems among men and to support men in making positive lifestyle choices.

The Irish Heart Foundation will be there on the day to provide free blood pressure checks to all men in attendance. From 1.30pm.

A number of short talks will also be provided by the Marie Keating Foundation, Mental Health Ireland and Get Ireland Walking.
